Premium Xbox 360 = $350 (when the PS3 comes out, Xbox 360 will drop in price)
Base PS3 = $550 w/ component cable

at [gamestop](http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=802523) it says a HDMI cable for the 360 costs 79.99 and the HD-dvd player is 199.99…

I did it for shits and giggles actually; kinda fun to see the reactions of the sales people actually. I wasn’t looking for anything serious; I mean I already know what I’m looking at which is the HK 745.

while i agree with you about buying high priced HT recievers @ Big box stores unless you know what you want, no big box stores doctor their tv’s to make them look goood, its actually the opposite, the old shitty cabling and distribution systems make them look worse then most boutique stores that haev the ability to get nice distribution systems and there is/never was any initiative to change anything at circuit city or BB (been sales managers for both )
