I doubt it would have exploded anyway, he probably didn’t have the pressure release and the bottle was filled over the rated pressure.

Almost all nitrous bottles have the pressure release. I’m pretty sure that one that exploded wasn’t filled over the rated pressure, it probably heated up so much the bottle couldn’t handle it…OR he was one of those idiots that heats their bottles with a torch which weakens the metal :headbang

ive seen too many times where nitrous has destroyed nice cars, exactly why i will never use it

black car = heat he could of had a old bottle or used a old dentists nitrous bottle thats not rated for high pressure like auto use bottles either way a blow off valve and a downtube would of saved his car some people are dumb :idiots any new nitrous kit has all the safety features but idiots will still do shit wrong :nod

Like I said, if he ever heated it with a torch, it weakens the metal causing it to blow at high pressures. Blow off valves are on most bottles, a downtube would have just blown the nitrous outside the car if it was installed correctly.
