# Spike strips???

Ok so long story short. Me and a bunch of buddies end up going downtown tonight to the pearl. I have 4 people in my car, and we usually go up the “do not enter” ramp to this parking garage cause no one parks up there and its really close. So i shut my lights off cause there was a cop on the corner, and i didnt want him to see me. He wasn’t looking and i made a mad dash for the “do not enter” ramp. Well someone goes… “hey what did that sign say?” SLAM! BUMP, BOOM, WHACK!!
I’m like :wtf just happened. We park, and i go walking down the ramp. They installed fucking spike strips across the entire ramp, they fold down when you go down the ramp, but are sticking straight up and curved if you go up the ramp. To some mracle, i’m not sure how… with bald tires and a ton of weight in my car, none of my tires popped. I just thought that was crazy… i can’t believe they installed spike strips…

nah, that one is too far from pearl, theres a couple garages right around pearl and on it as well

yeah… i have no idea how that worked, but i had my lights off… and i was going like 20mph when i hit them, if i was going slower i bet i wouldnt have gotten as lucky. It would be hard to take girls home in a car w/ 4 flat tires… :haha

My work garage is open all weekend and there aren’t any spike strips (on Broadway by the park) - just a piece of info (Pearl is a 2min walk, Pepsi Arena is 5-10min) :banana

Baahhh. That is funny as hell. I saw some retard drive up to a parking toll once that had them. He was too far away from the window and couldnt reach the ticket, so he backed up to shimmy closer and blew both rear tires! fucking loud too! :haha :crackup I was crying it was f-ing great! I cant believe yours didnt pop. that blows my mind.
