1978 honda CB750 runs on three cylinders after a friend rode it. I think something in the valvetrain failed on cylinder 2. still starts so you can hear it. has a new battery. bike is really clean and has low miles.
this bike meets all of your criteria. sport bike under $3500 AND this bike will not make your nuts hurt!

Ryan how much do you want for the z1000? how reliable are they? for a first/second bike, would it get a 20 year old who wants to “do wheelies” in trouble?

It needs tires and fork seals, so $2800 as is and $3300 fixed. $3100 fixed with stock exhaust. It wheelies well, it’s like the power of a 600cc with a bit more torque. Reliability is great, since it’s a comfy sportbike guys on forums have over 30k, 40k on them with just maintenance items.
Mine has aftermarket dirtbike bars, stainless steel braided lines front and rear, ebc hh pads, motul fluid, full yosh system with 2 cans and an aftermarket taller zero gravity windscreen.

1998 Suzuki GS500, nicely modded, keeps up with most 600’s well. Handles amazing, needs nothing and has under 4K miles on it. It has been around the forums a bit and is very well known for being an amazing starter bike. I have no real desire to sell it, but if I could get $2K for it I would let it go… I think.

I am not sure if I am willing to part with my R1 just yet so I don’t have anything else to offer for sale. good luck in your search. I can vouch for justin’s GS500. That is a nice bike. It is a lot of fun to ride.

Love gs500’s… thats what my buddy has now… I’ll see what happens with his taxes and see if its worth even chatting with him over a 3k bike.

Alex, let me look this bike over before you worry too much…there is ALOT that can contribute to losing fire on one cylinder, I am an expert with these things at this point lol.

Justin’s GS500 is srsly the best bet. It’s got EVERYTHING.
