# Squeaking when headlights are on?

Has anyone noticed if their engine (i’m assuming alternator) squeaks when there is an electrical load placed on it?

I noticed the other day that when I turn on my headlights on, a squeaking noise develops. This also happens when opening and closing the power windows.

Normal? Not normal? Any fixes for this?

Couple things it could be:

Loose Belt

Weak Alternator

Bad Bearings in Alternator

hopefully it’s just a loose belt…

how hard is it to get to the belt tensioner on a KADE?
