hey guys sorry for the long explanation look down for short story lolso heres the deal i am moving my car that i was storing at my house to my parents this friday. it had not been started in a while so i went out to start it up and the battery was\* half dead. No problem i jumped it from my truck but got my cables mixed. i know it was retarded. the car was sitting with nothing responding electricly but it was running. i reved the motor and all the electronics gauges lights and so on came back to life. tried to drive and the car will not rev out past 2200 rpm underload.i checked some fuses but figure the ecu is in a safety mode of some sort. and i am stumped.so what ever help you guys can provide would be appreciated. thanks scott so in short jumped negative to positive nothing electronic was responding reved it and electronics all came back but engine wont rev out past 2200rpm underload but revs out when clutch is in or in neatrual. forgot to mention it is a stock sr redtop number 62 ecu ---

i put the ecu into diag. mode and it came up with the code 55. that means there is no problems but the car is still running like shit any idea what i could have fried guys? ---

same with this guys: MAF. Unplug the maf and rev it up again, if it the same thing = maf not responding. ---

u prolly blew the fuse for the maf. its a 7.5 amp fuse located in the engine bay fuse box. i cant remember exactly where it is in the fuse box but yeah check all the fuses in the fuse box . u can also check and see if the maf is getting power if it isnt then uno that fuse is blown. ---

i changed the battery out with my truck and it seems to be running well again. it revs out smoth both underload and with out. the previus owner of the car had a small ass battery in the car from a lawn mower. it was enough to turn it over and run it.\* the only issue now is the electroncs nothing comes to untill i rev it out to about 3k then it is all good. ---

check your alternator fuse in the engine bay iirc, i crossed them years ago and the car still worked but my electronics/lighting were fucked, its a big fuse, might be the problem…
