# sr ka head swap?

is it possible to swap the heads between the sr20det and the ka24de? i used to know a web-site that you could mix and match parts from the different nissan engines, but i cant find it for the life of me now, does anyone know if i can swap these heads though?

Yup, you sure can if your bank account balance supports it…

No the heads do not directly bolt on. They need to be modified. Heavily, modified I imagine…

The flow on the KA is supposed to be far superior to the SR…

I’ve read the SR is one of Nissan’s worse flowing heads… But it’s the 'net and I digress…

youd probly be better off just gettin the sr head port/polished if you were concerned about the flow rate, i would think anyway could be wrong

oh, it’s not something i was planning on doing, it’s just something i was curious about. granted, it would be interesting to see if it could be done fairly easily…
