# SR struggles and dies out...

I have a problem with my black top S13 SR, there is dark black smoke coming out from the exhaust, engine struggles and studders and won’t rev past 2000-3000 rpms, engine than shuts off at 0 rpms. What could this be? I changed the spark plugs- not it, could it be the MAF? Could it be the EGR sensor? Maybe broken cylinder or valve? Injectors? Someone please let me know…thanks

it is something alone your intake.

the same thing will happen if you have one of your major IC pipes loose, the mafs not being plugged or malfunctioning will also do this.

Massive vacuum/boost leak

ignitor on the way out

faulty ECU

Injector stuck open

timing way off

CAS fried

no compression

Take your pick

I fixed the problem guys, it was a tube from the SMIC that came off when I was driving, it was hidden behind the actual intercooler core so that’s why I couldn’t see it. But I found it and put the tube back on with newer clamps. Thanks for all the tips and info. guys, you really helped me out! Thanks again- P.S Special thanks to Varun, Bing and Michael Lee (Racing Revolution) you all helped me out a lot.
