# SR turbo extension on a CA18

Yah I remember doing this on Avery’s car and with an SR downpipe, but it came really close to the frame rails, had to bang it a bit with a hammer. Not sure if it was caused by the extension or the downpipe.

some people say it will work with an sr20 downpipe. some say the engine mounts are angled differently on ca18 factory motor mounts.
my sr20 turbo extension did not work with the stock ca18 downpipe or the 3inch sr20 downpipe
the sr20 turbo extention is longer and the 3 bolt flange is angled diferently when comparing them side by side.
i say no others say yes

I have a SR one on mine, I’m throwing it in the trash this winter. Bolts up, but and the angle is was off, angles to the frame rail. I had to weld up a down pipe cause no downpipe would work and you can get that elbow off in the the bay with a stock T25 cause of the studs.
