# sr20 engine fit on stock tranny??

i’ve got a 91 240 hatch and i want to put the red top in it and i was wondering if the stock tranny would work?? if you know send me a message, thanks.

plus i need a new gas tank, so if anyone near orillia has one they’ll sell, let me know, thanks.

Well that’s upsetting, but knowing that I think I’ll just save up a bit more and just get the s14 blacktop then. Thanks anyway.

Are engines/transmissions from TOTALJDM quality? And is it fairly straight forward to do a s14 swap??

Man, the www is your friend, research. Other then wiring i didn’t have any other issues with my S14 motor in the S13.

Hey - I have an sr20 bellhousing, and i’ll even install your KA tranny onto it. Ive done it a few times now. The KA trannies are not as strongm, however.
