Don’t know which engine is better to swap into a 92 240sx SE. The car has 226 currently so wanna swap in a new engine before something goes bad. Are there any other engines I should consider? Any advice will be helpful. Also what are some experiences withs these 2 engines. Thanks ---

take a good month browsing all of the major 240 forums out there. U have alot of learning to catch up on, trust me. One thread will not tell u everything u need to know. my Vote SR… ---

SR20 handsdown. RB20 is too heavy and harder to swap and get parts for. ---

I’d say to go with the SR for ease of swap ---

Yes SR is easy as pie and easy to get parts for… If your choices are only the RB20 and the red top SR I would go SR… But if you throw RB25 in to the equasion… I would Go RB25 all the way… Sure its a lil heaver… Sure it uses more gas… sure the parts are a lil harder to come by… but damn… I love those engines… I had one In my Kouki before I sold it. too much fun and gobs of torque!
