# sr20 swap

Is it possible to swap a sr20det from a 89-90skyline RHD into a 95 240sx LHD? Also changing it from auto to 5speed.

And if so, where would you guys suggest i get it done for a reasonable price. I say reasonable because i still want a good quality wiring job and just good quality in general.

autodream … rb20 or sr20 they can put it in that car for you and do the wiring and labour

doh, hope you meant 89-90 silvia, and even still, it’d have a ca18det. skylines don’t have SR’s, they have the RB series of engines. so you’d be looking for 91+ sr20det from a silvia or 180sx

errr sorry i meant rb20det, dont know what i was thinking. But obviously there have been mabye dicussions over this, but what do you suggest i do. I have 5k to spend on this engine swap, and im looking to put a body kit on it aswell, but will probably have to get some extra cash. Just wondering what you guys think i should do. Buy from a company like autodream and have them do it or take from a parting vehicle or what?

u MIGHT get it done for 5 k if ur looking for a swap for 5k i recomend a ca18 or an sr20det!

I got an idea. Buy a CA, Rob^^^^ will throw it in and I have MAF, SAFC2, GTR injectors for it and you can source out a S14 or 15 turbo! This sounds good to me!
