# SR20DE Help

Hey all…need some NA advise.  
I would like to go with the SR20DE stroked with a few other goodies in my 510. I just have a couple more questions before I start getting my parts.

1. Does AEM make an ECU for the DE motors or just the turbo engine? I guess if I am not using the complete DE harness meshed into my 510 i am better off going with a universal and running my own harness?

2. Any disadvantage in going with an S14 DE with the vtc or whatever its called or should I opt for an earlier year DE? I ask this becuase i would like to upgrade the cams and valvetrain for a bit of extra ooommff but am not sure how it would would with the VTC.

3. Tomei makes a stroker kit for the SR20DE. Will it will work on the S13 DE as well as the S14? I believe I read that they are the same internals but am not 100%

4. Tomei also makes cams for the SR20 but are they DET only or they will work with both motors (again I think I read they are the same fitment)? They have a Poncam set with gears listed that deletes the NVCS…is that the same as VTC?
