My driveshaft wont go all the way into the sr20det redtop tranny, Ive tried hitting with a hammer and it went in further but not all the way, but got stuck in so i hammered it back out. im stuck and need son’s help. Randy ---

Ive noticed that 2" at most of the shiny driveshaft is exposed coming out of the tranny that looks like it should be in further. I was told that im just missing a shroud off the tranny. Ive had it like that for years with no leaks or failures. ---

yeah the littel dust cover on the end mush have been removed. ---
