# SR20DET S14 MBC info

Hi, wondering if it’s safe to up the boost on a notch top s14 sr20, and if it’s safe to do so with a mbc?? cone filter and catback, is it realistic to hit 240whp on smic and recirc valve?

I dont’ think 240rwhp is reasonable with MBC…

370’s injectors… maybe top out around 12-14psi…

I personally don’t think I would boost up past 12psi

Thanks for the reply, but how much power do you think I can ‘realistically’ expect by running 10psi??  
Or what would the mod list be to reach 240whp without touching injectors?

the first things you would usually do is DP exhaust, some sort of front mount (but if its just a cruiser not a biggy for 240whp) But in the end you will need injectors AND some sort of tune, personally id try to find some FD rx7 Primary injectors they are side feed and 550cc shouldn’t hit the wallet too hard

and as far as manual boost controllers go they suck i mean for $20 you cant go wrong but it’ll add lag and when you are in the higher rpm range boost will drop off, not fun

what about modifying the stock wastegate with a washer for an additional psi or two??
