# SR20DET Timing chain

Can the timing chain kit from an SR20DE work with the DET?

I do not see why not, but just want to clarify…

So to be more particular:

Timing chain  
Cam sprockets/gears  
Chain Guides  
Tensioner

etc…

Will i even need the sprockets, or will it be fine with just the new chain, guides + tensioner?

I don’t think new sprockets are necessary.

Yes it will. If you are ordering from a nissan dealership just tell them from a B13 sentra with a 2.0 litre motor. Also make sure you get the revised chain tensioner.
