the new 5.0s are just plain awesome. i was driving next to a new M3 earlier today and loved it!.. but then i realized you can buy a new 5.0 for about 20k less and have a better performing car! ---

i knew somebody with a german car would chime in about the highway runs and straight line stuff. the two cars are SO close in performance. the M3 has a better suspension, yes, but for only beating the stang by like .09 of a second around the track. being the same on the skidpad. and the stang costs 20 to 30 k less and gets better gas milage. and has way more Mid range power, ill take the 5.0. with everything considered, the stang is a hell of a car. the M3 is badass as well, but the cost is way too much of a difference and the performance cant even come close to making that up. thats just my opinion…and i dont even really care for american cars ---

IMO it’s apples and oranges. Not because the stang handles _bad_, I’ve seen numbers and lap times on both cars, no doubt about the stang being a better bang for the buck, but there are advantages to both, and it’s just different tastes. I mean, have you heard the M3’s V8 at 8400rpm? ---

OMG i know! i love exotic motors/cars/engineering ideas. they are so nice man. those M3s are crazy looking. def better than the 5.0s! if i had the money, a new M would be keeping my cobra company for sure! ---
