anybody know if any local shops carry stainless 2.5" -3" reducers?

I’d doing some exhaust fab work and was surprised to see that my headers have a 3" output even though the rest of the exhaust system is 2.5 after the cats…

So in order to cutt off the secondary cats, i need to transition from 3-2.5"

Pepboys/autozone only seem to have aluminized stuff…

can i weld the aluminized reducer to a SS pipe on both ends?

I have both SS and Mild mig wire…

was really hoping to get this project done today
