i would just grab you a replacement damper. MSRP on a replacement damper, inverted style is $165 usd, i can do it for $175 cdn + shipping or thereabouts. Just remove your coilover, unthread all the collars and put it all back on the new damper. Chris can handle this for you, or if you bring the whole unit down i might be able to help you out… i’ve done it a few dozen times already. ---

from what paul told me it is not the damper performance it is that one of his adjustment knobs is broken, likely due to something impacting it… road debris kicking up and hitting the knob underneath the damper… i havent seen it, that is just what i gather from his description through pm. either way, a new damper will take care of it… if it is just the clicker cap i can get those too… it’s like $20 for a set of 4 ---

Overboost, Just what Bing said. One of the adjusters broke off at the base of the damper. While inverted monotubes are great in a lot of ways having the working guts of the adjuster 3 inches away from the road surface is kinda whack. When I replace the damper unit I think I’ll have to whip up some kind of protective thing-a-majig to prevent sh\*t from damaging it again. Thanks Bing. I’ll talk to you soon about a replacement. ---

cool thanks cgguy! on another note, is anyone else having problems with spontaneous lowering of their stance? i know one guy having a problem with it and not sure about the rest. any problems with yours cgguy? ---

that is a coilover issue, not necessarily a Stance issue… just happened to me the other day and i am not on Stance yet. ---

Appart from the broken adjuster (which was largely my fault) I’ve had no quality issues or spontaneous lowering with the coilovers. The only minor issues I’ve come across is a noisy rear mount which after reading Sasha’s post I’ll try to remedy with some grease and tightening of the top bolt… And the gold collars on these tend to scratch up a bit when you tighten them with the spanner wrenches. Other wise they have been problem free. Bing, have you had a chance to find out what, if any, custom spring rates we can get for these? ---

you can get any spring rate from 4k to 12k. $120 per pair of springs i beleive. i have some Stance coming up for the Drift Mania guys next week if anyone needs anything. Paul, this would be a good chance to get your parts if you need them now. ---
