YES I have been checking the SC site once in awhile. They have put this off almost as long as GT5… The Koreans are going to go bonkers!!! ---

The Beta’s out now, if you pre-order the game you can get a code. Haven’t done it yet, but I will this weekend. Still waiting for Diablo III \>:-( ---

It’s just like the original, but better :wow :wow :wow Finally the creators are realizing, that if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, just “face lift” it. That’s why a lot of old games sequels were great, Doom series for example. ---

Now that this is started, How many have Starcraft? I am more than willing to do some co-op. Also, anyone here have C&C games? I have the First Decade pack, and extra copy of Red Alert 2, Generals, and Tiberium Sun. I have some other RTS games too, just dont know them of the top of my head. ---

I don’t think I’ve had a legit SC here, I do have some Russian bootleg versions however. Just looking at Terrans? Assault troops, Drop Pods, the Marines in general… Starcraft was originally supposed to be based on Warhammer 40,000… Terran were Space Marines, Zerg were Tyranids, and Protoss were Eldar. Check out Dawn of War and you’ll see what I mean. The game was created in 1987, well before Starcraft, has a huge following (both the computer game and the game it’s based off of). Just like Warcraft was supposed to be a Warhammer RPG, but the deal with GW fell through and they pretty much took it all and made their own games. I fucking hate Warcraft… ---

Warcraft 2 was money, I \<3 that game. Starcraft seems to have gameplay based very closely to the Warcraft style, must have evolved from that. Wasn’t familiar with Warhammer 40,000; the only one I’m familiar with is Dark Omen IIRC, and that game is epic. But that’s interesting. Can’t blame them though, that’s like saying nearly every shooter is a rip off from Castle of Wolf. ---

I’ve been playing on [battle.net](http://battle.net) since 1998,Brood war top bracket ladder in 2002,2005 for KR realm. 2200 rating bracket on diablo 2 ladder. Sucks that they are charging monthly fees to access [battle.net](http://battle.net) though ---
