a center channel speaker for a 2002 eclipse gt with the infinity sound system?? im in need of any speaker thats not blown for the stock stereo system. ---

i didnt see a center channel listed, all could find on it was Front speakers Front Door : 6-3/4" Far rear speakers Rear Seat Side Panels : 6x9" ---

car has a 7 speaker infinity sound system 2 tweets top of door the 4 speakers you listed and a 2 ohm center channel in the middle of the dash anybody ---

my docs show 2 - 6.5" fr; 2 6x9" rr for both the amplified sys & the standard sys. Are you sure it is factory? Maybe something special? I have not worked on an '02 Eclipse, so I cannot speak from experience. Can you take it out & measure it? ---

infinity factory sound is far from “the good shit” if you’re having to upgrade it ,must not’ve been that good. you’ll have to downsize the speaker size most likely to accomodate the new speaker’s magnet structure. sorry for the bad words on your system choice. just don’t care for “premium” systems ---

i must agree factory premium systems r poop my mom bought a brand new buick rondevu (i kno i cant spell) they salesman kept pushing for the premium and i told him to shut the hell up about it she does not want it lol i just put a 12 in woofer on a little 300 watt amp in the car and i kno some one wit same car wit premium sound and my moms sounds so much better (till she got tired of it and had me take it out) ---

I think it’s an odd 3 inch speaker, I had a similar issue in my 03 Stratus (same car as the eclipse)
