# Stereo Install, CAI Install

These questions are for a 1993 240sx hatch with a KA24DE.
First off, I was wondering where is the best place to run the power wire through the firewall to hook up an amp. Its 4 gauge wire so its a bit bigger diameter to run through the two grommets I saw on the passenger side. - Just refined my search, so I should use the EFI harness, ECU hole. Any better suggestions?
Also, I ordered a ebay intake, came with no instructions, but I figured it’s simple enough. I installed it, and I thought I had all the right hoses connected, however, the largest diameter hose on the passenger side that comes from underneath the factory intake has no where to connect to on the new intake. I couldn’t see where the hose ran in my dark ass garage and I didn’t have time to jack the car up and see. Would someone be able to tell me off hand what that hose is for?

I had the same problem with my intake i bought. I found that the hose just ran to the fan shroud. I left mine off and it seems to run fine.

The large hose on the bottom goes to a resonator. You can get rid of it; it’s useless.
I ran my power wire through passenger side rockers and through the firewall
from a hole I imade; althoug you can get away with the ECU grommet.

i went trough the hood pop cable that goes trough the firewall and down across the rocker with my amp power. as well as my sleepy headlights. worked well. plus the car looks all jdm with a bright red wire running across the top of the engine bay.
