Look, the bottom line is that nobody buys an STi for gas mileage, unless they are retarded. oh i understand 🙂 in specific reference to the GTO v STI comment, the GTO is a PIG. 4k+ lbs et al. However, as with LSx cars with T56s… the high gears is where its at. Most of the 6 spd 4th gen guys can regularly get into the mid-high 20s. IOW: I don’t think its primarily about compression there. Yea, if you bought an STi purely for fuel efficiency, you’re a moron. However, for those who bought an STi when gas was $2/gal, I’m sure they maybe reconsidering their priorities. In any case, $0.02. I’ll stick with my 2800# 4cyl mustang, and stay out of this thread 😛 ---

yea thats even worse than when i had the FD :lol: dual walbros with 2- 850cc injectors and 2-1600cc injectors ---
