# STI \> Mustang

Cruising back from the ritz to get windows closed before the rain, we ran into a red mustang, It was like a 03ish, chrome rims, scope, loud exhaust, driver, his g/f and a guy in the back.
This guy starts hammering on it right next to us, I was the passenger, notch-dc5 was the driver. So Notch gives him a little bov, but we still had two cars in front of us. We weave through traffic and end up catching a light.
Revs get thrown, and we were trying to decide how Greg should lauch (were honda boys this AWD is new to us). Light goes green Greg slips the clutch out at like 3.5 K hammers first instant 2 cars, 2nd gear another car or two, Greg misses third but by this time the gap is pretty big, hit third and then shut it down, because of more traffic.
I give the mustang Guy a :tup: for trying and we go on our way.
Then this guy follows us, he pulls up next to us and starts to scream, " Why don’t you go race a Cobra?", greg replies with “Why don’t you own one.”, this guy got really pissed swearing giving us the finger, I couldn’t stop laughing.

I actually happened to be witness to this, I was a few cars back and instantly took notice of an STi pulling a bus on the Mustang.

I meant an instant bus. Due to traffic I couldn’t see alot after the launch.
