I like it, but the only issue for me is the fact that because the light was behind you, the side of the car you where shooting is a bit under exposed and heavily shadowed. Also it leaves that side open to all the refections as opposed to just cool highlights from the light, especially on a black car. Just a thought to keep in mind 😉

i am tryin to pick up a CP lens for that issue ian! haha it bothers me all the time…also i didnt have my flash on me because we were not even going out to shoot we just said well that looks awsome and only had my camera on me…i would love to reshoot it with a flash!

Yeah. Believe it or not a CPL isn’t going to cut down all that much on the body of a black car you really have to take that into account when shooting a dark colored car, headlights and widows though its quite effective. As for the flash, that is the way to go, also one flash will work just fine, you just have to use it from multiple angles and then merge the exposures.

black is a tough color to shoot in those conditions…you did pretty well with it though :tup:
