You can get not so industrial ones at RadioShack… I have one, used it for a track day. It was shakey. And it fell off after like 2 laps, thankfully window was closed or it would flown out! (had it mounted to my windshield.)

Obviously it is designed with precisely that in mind… If you watch the videos on the site, he tests it by hanging a 20lb weight off the mount.

Sooo much better than hanging someone out the window, of trying to jam the cam between your headrest.
