Besides the e-peen, I assume so if you make useful posts and help people out, you get reputation points so people know if they should trust the information you give them? Not sure, but that’s my best guess. ---

that would seem to be the purpose of the points but i never knew we had them, else i be giving them out to some ppl here ---
