# stpid over heating problem

i have an sr20det black top and its over heating new thermostat and its opening for sure. there is air in the system it bubbles alot and squirts out the rad when running and the temp gauge goes way up and the gauge is also fine before people tell me its not. its really hot. what the #$^% is going on. i was purging it just like any other vehicle and the damn thing is still over heating anyone else rin into this problem

either you have a hole in your rad or one of the hoses and it cant hold pressure or HG… pressure test the rad and do a compression test on the block.

no its not that it holds pressure and compression is good
and hg is new my problem is it is not circulating. and i don’t know why. the water pump is fine

Check the rad cap. I had the same problem and found the rad cap was not seating all the way.
