Once again, we will be putting on the Second Annual Street Car Shootout! The SCS '09 event is open to all STREET CARS. Import, muscle, truck, van, doesn’t matter what you’re running, it just needs to be fast and “Street Legal.” **Racers will be competing head’s up on a Pro Tree in 6 classes:** 10.49 and faster 10.50 - 11.49 11.50 -12.49 12.50 -13.49 13.50 - 14.99 15.00 and up **CASH payouts and prizes from our sponsors and NYIRP!** Last year was a huge success with cash and trophies in the hands of 5 winners. This year we will have even more sponsors, more racers, more classes and more time to race! There will also be a **Big Dog / Little Dog Second Chance Race** for the first 3 rounds of eliminated racers. $5 to buy back in, 100% payout! **Big Dog Class: 12.49 and faster. Little Dog Class: 12.50 and slower.** **Sunday September 13th Gates open at 9:30. Time Trials start at 10:30. 1st Qualifying Round at 11:30.** **Vehicle must be registered with valid inspection sticker to compete.** (Same as last year: we don’t care how you got your sticker, or what you’ve done to your car since… it just needs to be there!) No Dealer Plates! No box, but slicks are ok! Management reserves the right to deny any participants at their own discretion. Sandbag rules will apply! Wow 1 sec range for classes? So a 12.40 car has to go heads up to a 11.70 car. Good luck!!! Wasn’t this on a Wed night last year? at least it is on a Sunday this time… ---

what about cars w/o cages? track rules still apply? the website has nothing on cage rules that i could find ---

I like the fact that it is at the end of the year, so guys have a good amount of time to get their cars all sorted out. ---

They don’t have any info on their site about it yet, but they will. We are still working on the official rules. Just wanted to get it out there! Cages will still need installed for safety, but I think if you are a borderline 11.3 and you have 2 passes to win, it would be pretty s\*\*tty if they kicked you out. We will meet with Bob and Donna again soon and get it all covered and on their site. -Shawna ---
