# Stuffing a front mount onto my 05 STi - done!

I then turned off my car, poped the hood ,and felt the hot side pipe. It was hot enough to burn you. I then felt the cold side pipe, right at the TB, and it was cold as ice 😃

So, yup, it works!

Hey man, good job- looks real clean. Nice that you were able to take your time with it. ^^ what gear are you in w/ full boost at 3200rpm? My car is Cobb Stage 2 and full boost in 5th is about 2900. If same, your lag isn’t too bad at all.

I still don’t understand why all these kits have the cold side pipe run over the turbo. I realize it can be delt with, but it still bugs me.
