Whats the difference between the both?

And what are the pro’s and con’s between the both?

Now you showed two different types of bushings…

One Poly-Urethane the other Aluminum.

What are the main differences between the two?

Well, how about this scenario:

My rear end clunks a lot on deceleration (hitting the brakes, letting go of the gas, and reverse gear)… Should I get new bushings or collars?

Thanks!!

The collers are meant to be used with stock bushings. The polly urithain are meant to replace your stock busing and can not be used with the collars

Actually, the polyurethane (assuming that’s what it is) in the middle pic looks to be more a spacer/collar than a bushing. I wouldn’t trust a plastic to resist the forces it would encounter as a subframe bushing.

The top pic looks like aluminum (or stainless) and those are collars. The smaller ones would go on the bottom, and the gapped ones on the top (I don’t know why they’re gapped though.)

The bottom pic is just a collection of straight-up bushings, almost certainly aluminum.

They are gapped so you dont have to drop your whole subframe
to install them only losen the 4 bolts holding it up and slip them in.

Hey thanks for your reply.

Do you mean the rubber ring that holds the 2 piece drive shaft in place?
