I’m looking to get an in-dash CD/DVD/iPod and possibly GPS/Nav for my 2006 Grand Cherokee. I have a double din. Since it’s my daily, I’m not looking for something that is going to turn heads, just something that I can hook up and control my iPod, maybe play a DVD, and possibly have a GPS. Flip out with a single din is fine also. Looking for something sub $400. What ya got? ---

just hire some illegal immigrants to sit in the passenger seat singing your favorite songs and giving you turn by turn directions…pay them with a burger…then when your done, drop them off at the immigration office and win. then do it all again the next day. ---

Joe…I just had a Pioneer AVH-P3100DVD installed in my wife’s S4, and it’s absolutely fantastic. Easy to use, plenty of inputs. The only, and I mean ONLY downside is that the ipod cable is hooked up to the front of the unit, rather than having a rear connection, so the cabling can be a bit unsightly. you might be able to score one refurb for around that … sub $400 new and your gonna get some garbage … so save some more cash ---

I’ve got a slightly used avic d3. Its an outdated model now, but a beautiful double din nonetheless. I’d sell it to you if you wanted it with the ipod cable. Not too flashy, should be able to pick up the harness for it dirt cheap. ---
