Need a recommendation on a nice brand of suitcase. I have some travelling coming up. Where is a good place to get a good brand / price in Buffalo?

Samsonite FTW

American Tourister is a little cheaper I think and pretty good too.

Check Target, Sears, etc.

Get something big enough to hold most of your stuff and another one small enough for a carry on to stuff some entertainment and necessities like toothbrush, boxers, deodorant, socks, etc for when the airline loses your luggage. I prefer a collapsable duffle bag style for the carryon so that it’s easier to smush into the overhead compartment or seat in front of you and a rigid suitcase for the big one to give souveniers a fighitng chance of coming home in one piece.

I’ve taken my American Tourister luggage and Samsonite briefcase all over the world (sometimes through some fairly rough travel,) and they’ve both held up well, although the briefcase looks looks nicer than the AT stuff.

Go to TJ Max or Marshalls for good stuff at great prices. I got my big samsonite suitcase from there for only $50 and another med size one for about the same. Just a thought…

Samsonite is pretty much the best quality you can get without bending over, or getting on your knees.

Thanks guys. Found a decent suitcase at Kohls to get my by. I’m going to look on Samsonite’s website and some others and pick out something I want. Then order it online and save some $$$.

Do NOT cheap out on luggage. It’s the one thing that if you buy quality luggage, your travels will just me that much nicer. A quality set of luggage is something EVERYONE should have. Check for good zippers, wheels and handles. Number of compartments is fairly useless, as most everyone puts most of their stuff in the big one.
