Its really not that bad. It’s a great winter project for me, esp since the car is at my house now, I don’t mind working on it.
The underbody is in very good condition with almost no surface rust, I’ll be cleaning that up as well and spray it all with undercoat.

You should go back to daily driving this thing! Losing the rear steer has to help remove some weight from that beast. Im with 6SPD on the Ford 9er

VERY easy actually. I sprayed them all with PB about a week ago and they came right out. It was wierd working on it though. You wouldnt think by removing the rear end out of a car there would be so power steering fluid spilled on the floor, lol. Simplifying the car FTW.
