It’s nice havig a car for at least half a year that you can park wherever you want wihout worrying, bag to shit and noot wash for months on end.

exactly what i do and i agree that it is the best way…

driving a jdm through an edmonton winter is possibly the worst thing you can do to your car…

Pretty much anything that honda or Toyota makes… :finga:
Because you don’t want to get stuck on the side of the road because your unreliable POS broke down. So you buy a quality car, like a honda or toyota. :finga:
Ok, i will add Volkswagen too. Feel better?

Thats funny. My parents civic that is a couple years old (00 stock) has had many many more problems than my 240sx that has about 1.8 times the power as stock and is driven WAY harder.

I heard somewhere that lethbridge doesn’t use salt on the roads (might be wrong though), so does that mean it is okay to drive in the winter?

I do the same (well, this will be the first winter with the new Altima). I didn’t drop my hard-earned money on a car with heated leather seats to have it sit in my garage all winter.

I like keeping my cars as clean and damage-free as possible, but I’m also one of those guys who thinks that cars are for driving. If I have something that I can’t drive year-round in a Calgary winter, then I guess I’d have to consider either changing the car, or changing the city. 😉 But maybe that’s just me…
