Kinda off topic, but, here goes. In those really high HP Supras, other then a HUGE turbo and supporting things, do they increase the displacement of the engine’s? I just can’t image what, a 3L I6 with a MASSIVE turbo making 1200hp. Does the car basically “come alive” at 7,000 rpms??

Most of them are 3 liters, stroker kits are getting more popular but they are $$$$. Im sure lots of them spray to spool but when you launch at high rpms at the track your not really getting into the low rpm range.

That was another ? of mine was wether a 1200hp Supra is going to be a track only car or if it could be driven on the street.

I belive there are plenty of people that have 900 + WHP streetable supras

We know a VIPER is a SNAKE.
You don’t need to constantly allude to this fact.

Most of the cars in that range pretty much see only track duty. Without slicks that kinda power is useless. I had no traction with 700 rwhp, these guys make double that. You could probably get away with having it legal for the street, you just would not be able to get on it.

Having so much power that it is not usable is something that is just so cool for some reason to me.
