I just got a thing in the mail today that apparently my license is going to be suspended starting in November. It’s from the Town of Colonie, and as far as i can recall… i only got 2 tickets this year. One was for speeding, which i already took care of, and the other was for i believe no front plate. It honestly slipt my mind since i think that was back in April… but i did fill it out, and mail it in. I am positive i didn’t miss anything from the court in the mail. I check my mail once every Thursday, take my paycheck and everything with my name on it and immediately go through it all. I forgot all about it, and now i just got this notice. What do i do besides obviously call the court tomorrow and complain? Is my license definitely going to be suspended no matter what i do? It says for “reason” Failure to Appear. We’ll if i had gotten a court date i would have appeared, i never recieved anything with a court date on it. I’m confused. :confused Anyone know how this will all work out? It’s a no front plate ticket… as far as i can recall, i pay for like 2 or 3 of them a year, and i dont care about the fine. But i never got a court date for this one? ---

call them tomorrow and try to straighten it out before it takes effect. ---

yah i’m just irritated that i didnt even get a warning notice or anything, like… hey you missed your court date, heres another one! i get a ticket… mail it in, and 6 months later i get a license suspension notice. :confused ---

Went to CPD, and walked in told the lady wht was up, then walked out with a court date. eneded up getting dropped cuz the tropper is no longer living in ny. ---

More then likly you missed a court date. And find out y they give these out, she wouldnt tell me. but i think its makes the person respond the charge or w.e faster. and not want to blow it off
