# SUSPENSION PROBLEM!!! need help please

OK i was changing my left rear suspension and where the bolt holds the shock at the bottom…when i was trying to take off the nut the bolt just snapped!!! So what do i have to do??
Does that bolt come off at all??? OR am i just fucked?

never heard of that happening before… So the stud actually broke inside the nut? If so GG. I’m pretty positive those cant be changed and are part of the spindle, they might be able to press out actually… either way your going to need to remove the whole spindle and either replace the spindle or take it to get that stud pressed out if thats even possible, cant remeber off the top of my head.

just pick up another spindle off of a parts car or junkyard, should be relatively cheap. not worth your time pressing out the bolt, finding a replacement, and replacing it imo.
just out of curiousity, what was your method of taking the nut off? impact gun, wrench, ratchet, lots of extensions, etc.?

ill make u a deal come pick up a sub frame off me for free
it has the lowers and spindlles hubs and all…urs free just get it outa my drive way
