# suspension setup question track related

Okay, car I bought originally had a ka-t installed. Suspension was dialed in pretty good.
D2’s with 7/5, whiteline sways, tanabe power brace, subframe collars, steering bushing eliminator, preload all dialed pretty good.
I’ve just put in an rb20, oviously, motor sits a little higher and more forward and its a little heavier.
I’m headed to the track and obviously need to make some changes to compensate. I’m pretty clueless when it comes to this stuff. Bear in mind this is for grip, not drift.
I’m gonna leave preload where it is for now, should I be going more rebound/compression in the front or rear? Not sure how to compensate. Car has more of a tendency to understeer. I’m gonna get it properly done next season when the car is complete. For now, just wondering if someone could point me the right direction.
To sum up, car is heavier in the front now, has a tendency to understeer more. What do I do to lessen that?

Get rid of the D2’s. Those were only good in 2005.

and lessen front
