Whelp… after a couple months of being a contractor with Ernst and Young… and being told that I was being looked at for a permanent position (talking money numbers and such), I found out today that I’m only staying on through the end of the years or earlier if i decide to leave early. Kinda sucks, and i feel like i was lead on, but at least the wife and I aren’t moving forward any more with our house shopping. It sucks… I don’t want to have to tell her that we can’t get our house, and i’m stuck back at square one. :down: :finger2: ---

This time of year I would be looking today for a new job, it’s hard to find a new job at this time of year, even a month down the road after the new year Dec/Jan is a very bad time to look for work. Yah, That’s the thing that kills me is not know how much per week I’m going to bank, getting 500 one week and 4000 the next week would drive me batshit insane. You are right though, Pittsburgh is about connections and most of my connections are through my work. Kind of hard to quit my job here and still try to use those connections.
