# Swap question

im swapping from a ka to a ka-d is the engine wiring harness different or can i use the same one?

it’s different, you have to use the DE harness and cut off the dash connector, then solder on the single cam plug from your old harness. you just connect the 5 wires that are the same colour, it’s easy.

you have to use the DE cluster regardless or your tach won’t work. you have to solder on the SOHC plug because the dash connectors are different from a DOHC to a SOHC.

you just use the harness thats in the red car because its allready modded
