# Switching from iOS to Android

So I should be getting my GS5 on Thursday (if FedEx does their job, of course), and I am coming from an iPhone 4S. Any recommendations on apps, tools, settings, etc… that’ll help with the transition or anything? Or just any recommendations for new users in general?

Yes, I’ve read this many times due to lots of people complaining they’re no longer getting texts from iPhone users after switching to Android.

I just went through this.

You have to turn the imessage off on the iPhone first?

I have a droid and an iPhone and after switching to the droid the iMessages get lost?
