13.0 for a boosted LS motor is lean. 12.0-12.5 is safe. Below 12 is wasting fuel and losing power, or wait, ‘loosing’ power as most internet folk would say.

most tuners use the richer afr to control egt’s and cylinder temps… my car was tuned around 11.0-11.3 afr… could have gone leaver but not really concerned much with that now…lol

I’m simply keeping you on topic unlike the rest of the shiftboard…we cant stray to engine building when tuning is the question at hand…geeze

whatever… how many cars blew up after synapse tuned them? I’m sure there have been a bunch, but I doubt they are at fault for all of them (k20powerz :ssh). Same shit goes for Moon. Tuners aren’t magicians. A polished turd is still a turd.

whoa whoa whoa…I was not at fault for my car blowing up. I didn’t touch it, other than replace my spark plugs.

not what I was saying… just using you as an example of a synapse tuned car that blew.

who said that synapse was at fault also??? a stock motor is only going to take so much beating no matter how the tune is…who knows how the the motor was before the tune…i know it was being sprayed on well before it went to synapse…

i was watching a video of Cody Phillips WOTM supra and hes running in the 12:1 range on his FJO WB02. it seems to do just fine.

Looking for an FJO wideband but I’m having trouble sourcing a greed LED one. Let me know if you see any pop up.
