this seems like a stupid question but i dont want to order the wrong shit and waste MORE time on my car.

But how much bigger of a t-bolt clamp do you buy for a charge pipe with the silicone couplers? Say i have 2.5inch charge pipes… what size clamps should i get? the 2.75 clamp has a Range of 2.625 - 3.125 and the 3 inch camp has a Range of 2.875 -3.375

i figure the charge pipe is 2.5 inches and then the coupler is ABOUT 1/4 inch thicker all the way around. 1/4 inch on all sides = an additional 1/2 inch to the diameter of the pipe. SOOO thats about 3 inches.

so with that logic is it PROBABLY safe to say that i should order 1/2 bigger clamp then the size of the pipe?
