# T8 Light fixtures

Home depot has them for $17 each b4 tax. Can pick up a 10% off coupon but looking to try and save a little more. Im thinking a need 8 or 10 total. Anyone have a hookup, or know somewhere online to pick them up cheaper? Will also need bulbs.

That’s a pretty good deal.
I’ve priced them out at grainger, and a few supply houses. Couldn’t come close to what you can get them at HD or lowes for. Are the Lowes and HD the same quality? No, but they get the job done. It’s a fixture, it doesn’t have to be the Cadillac of light fixtures. The ballasts are really what matters and they all pretty much use the same ballasts nowadays.
Check with tpgsr though. If anyone has anything he might.
For lamps buy them online. [www.1000bulbs.com](http://www.1000bulbs.com) has great prices.

Yea I was looking around online and didn’t see anything at a similar price. Everything else is at least $10 more a light. Guess I should get ahold of misterioman or whatever and try for a gift card or 2.

Buy some cheap 4 footers and screw them together! Voila! 8 foot fixture!

I use the black ones from Lowes. The ballasts in them last like 3-4 years versus the more expensive fixtures that will last like 10 years. I can only sell you the expensive ones but these will et the job done and they are what I have in my own shop:

Will be in touch for some bulbs in the next couple weeks. Need to figure out how many fixtures I will actually need.
