those roads are no joke. I drove through the Cherokee Mtns. from Bristol to Charlotte last year, and if you are not careful…bye bye off a cliff.

redconquesttsi went there. The National Starquest meet is in Pigeon forge TN. They cruise up and down the tail of the dragon a shitload of times. Those hills are really no joke. and theres something like 318 curves in the course of 11 miles.

There are a lot better roads than the actual “Tail of the Dragon” IMO.

didnt you see this guys brakes sparking in the video? its crazy. and im pretty sure they are some pretty crazy expensive big brakes. its WRC replicar, so its got some crazy exclusive parts

pretty sweet. looks like fun, we hit the one roda like that on the way down to carlisle and everyones brakes failed by the halfway point lol.

highway? 2lanes, downhill with a truckspeed of 40mph?
that is route 11/15 about 10-20 miles north of williamsport. it is the greatest streatch of driveway i have ever driven in my entire life.
brakes failed? bah, i always set cruise to 80 when i go down it, and make it fun. in the subaru it was unreal

Its on older GD, so it can actually make it to the end.
Cool video though and I do agree with the music choice :tif: The first minute or so gives a good idea of how dangerous Deal’s Gap can be.

The reason the gap is dangerous is because there are fucking turd buckets like this douche trying to be cool and crossing double yellows all over the place. I wish he would have ended up in a ditch. Fucking cum hole.

Agreed. Woulda been a way better video if he actually knew how to stay on his side of the road.
I found it ironic that during the day, he took corners blind and crossed into the oncoming lane, but then at night, he stayed on his side of the road.
Road seems quite fun though, even as a relaxed drive.
