Been with my current accountant / tax preparer for more than a decade. Long story short, had issues with them on more than one occasion and decided that one of their more recent handlings of a situation was enough to make me and my wife move on. No better place to start looking for sound financial direction than here, so let’s get started. If you feel like recommending someone, please do. I’m looking for maybe a little more than an EG Tax type outfit. I’d like to be able to speak to someone from time to time about financial questions that may impact us. I don’t want anyone that’s going to be shady and dishonest, just do a good job within the bounds of the law so we don’t have to sing happy birthday to our son through wire reinforced glass. So for the first few years in business, I had a CPA firm that would take care of paperwork, returns and such, but that’s really as far as it went. I really wanted to find someone who would look at my situation and offer advice for future planning. I’ve got that guy now. Chris p. 716-989-1067 @ buffalo tax service. He does it all for me and my businesses. I have referred 20 or so people who have all called and thanked me! He is very down to earth I text him all the time with questions and what if scenarios.
