In all serriousness of course a TDI can be optimized to make the most power possible since it operates underless stressful conditions. A roughly 9k pound truck is rated to pull 21k pounds, over twice it’s own weight. Far as I know no TDI can do that. Different purposes behind each power plant. Well comparing towing capacities is like comparing apples to oranges.
