I stopped in DC on the way home from VIR ( [http://vimeo.com/4135097](http://vimeo.com/4135097) )and the timing fits my views. I wouldnt have made the trip here for it, but I would go to the one in Albany.

Our truck driver at work said that it looked like they had a good turnout down there when he was making his downtown deliveries, unfortunately I was stuck in the office and could not attend.

Interesting day. We had a permit to protest on the treasury grounds with a big stage. The DC Police issued the permit, but when set-up began, the secret service came over and said the DC Police didnt have power over the sidewalk and they did, therefor since we didnt have a permit for the sidewalk the gig had to go to Lafayette Park only…which had a tiny self set up stage and sound system. Greta VanSusteren and Alan Keys as well as others were left almost voiceless, but it was a great statement.

The secret service kicked us out and picked up an empty box of tea bags with a robot… it was pouring rain so many left when and didnt return anfter the te bag threat was thwarted. Lastly, the secret service wouldnt let the Million Donated tea bags (which were to be opened and dumped, then cleaned up) into the park. None the less, what a day. The media is a joke and tried to make the 500+ protest look silly, I assure you, they were not. Many supporters from all parties took place… its about the money.
I am all about helping the helpless, but not the clueless.
