Amherst Ted’s open after $35,000 fire
A fire at the Ted’s Hot Dogs on Transit Road in Amherst caused $35,000 worth of damage to the restaurant Saturday night.
Three fire trucks and 46 firefighters from the Main-Transit Fire Department arrived in four minutes after the 11:34 p.m. call about smoke coming from the roof. They discovered the blaze coming from the front area of the business near the sign and were able to extinguish the flames. Remaining smoke in the building was also removed. No injuries were reported.

Lol Teddy (owner of Theodore’s) still owns 50% of the shares for Ted’s. Wouldn’t be in his best interest to burn them down…
